Easier to play

I never imagined all the games of baseball that I competed in throughout the years that one day I would look back and realize that it was easier to have played than to sit on the side and coach! I guess when you are in the game you feel like you can do something to affect the outcome but sitting on a bucket in the dugout you feel sort of helpless trying to get 13 year boys to see how good "they could be.....Feels like church-planting and pastoring does sometimes - you see "what they could be" - however, the key is getting "them- the church" to step up and do something about it! When they do - look out!! Baseball will soon wind up for the year but the church game never slows down and the game counts a little more!!
